Submitting News

The Sacramento Bee encourages readers, customers and others to submit a fast-breaking story, hot tip, good feature or local news stories. The Bee requests that you send an e-mail, when possible, to the contacts listed below rather than a fax, and clearly indicate whether the announcement is time-sensitive. In addition to describing your news, please include a name, e-mail and phone number for follow-up questions.

The Bee receives hundreds of story tips, announcements and other faxes and e-mails every day and cannot pursue each one. Editors look for a story tips of broad interest to our general readership. Each tip is evaluated against other stories and those considered to be of most interest to our readers will be pursued.
