The Sacramento Bee is offering three 12-week student internships for summer 2008. The program is open to college undergraduate and graduate students. Candidates should be able to demonstrate the ability to develop content for print or online through a variety of storytelling techniques. Applicants should send a cover letter, resume, and a list of three references and six to eight work samples. Work samples can include newspaper clips, multimedia presentations or links to online material. Applicants interested in a copy-editing internship should provide a selection of sample headlines and no more than six to eight copy-editing samples.
Interns will be paid $575.00 per week and are responsible for their own living arrangements.
