We are now taking orders for the 2009-2010 school year. Teachers may now sign up for a Newspaper in Education (N.I.E.) subscription to The Sacramento Bee. This year let the electronic edition of the newspaper connect your students to the people, places and stories that affect us all, at no cost to you or your school. Online Lessons
Each week The Bee publishes a new online lesson for teachers, students and families who use the Internet and newspaper as learning resources. The lessons are tied to current events in the news and help learners extend their knowledge on a wide range of topics. This week's lesson is called "Manufacturing the Goods," a science feature for grades 6-12. (read more)
