Adult Education
The "California Adult Education Provider Directory" is a helpful tool when trying to locate adult education schools and services in your area. The directory, operated by the California Department of Education, consists of information about several hundred public adult schools, community colleges, community-based organizations, faith-based organizations, library literacy programs, and county offices of education.
An adult who is looking for a program can locate the closest schools by simply entering a zip code. Information provided about each program includes its address, phone number, map, transportation options, and a link to a school Web site, if available.
Adult educators and other staff can use the advanced search option for networking. Advanced search options include agency and site names, county, type of program, and adult education service region.
